Decide what to put in place first

Personal expert consultation for your Plan B

Give your next decision 60 minutes of focused expert advice. EXOBASIS reviews your circumstances before the consultation, then works through the options with you: what fits, what needs further investigation and where to start. You have time to question the reasoning and decide which steps make sense for the life you want.

From uncertainty to a next step

What your consultation covers

  1. 01Prepared for your situation

Your main question, the work already done and what matters for your decision

  2. 0260-minute conversation

Discuss the options, trade-offs and order of action

  3. 03Your next steps

A reasoned direction and priorities you can act on

The consultation helps you make one main decision. That might be whether to prepare a temporary fallback or a lasting family base, which gap in your preparations to close first, or how a move could affect the business and people who depend on you. We consider the connected issues that could change the answer.

Your booking includes preparation based on your circumstances and a 60-minute conversation, with time for your questions. We explain the options and our reasoning, identify what still needs evidence or specialist input, and discuss where to commit your time and money.

What you hold afterwards

A reasoned direction
See which options fit your circumstances, where they differ and what would make an option unsuitable.
Clear priorities
Understand what needs to happen first, what depends on it and who needs to be involved.
Room to test your thinking
Ask why an option fits, challenge the trade-offs and decide what support you want for your next step.

Define the decision you need to make

We start with the question you want answered and the decision it should help you make. You might want a second base while keeping your current home, a permanent move for your family, or one weak point in your preparations resolved. State what you already have and what would count as a useful result.

Once you book, we provide a questionnaire tailored to your consultation through the protected route arranged with you. Complete it before your appointment so we can prepare. Relevant facts may include citizenships, current residence, people who need to move together, work commitments and the time or budget available. We carry forward information you have already provided and ask you to confirm or correct it.

Documents and notes being organised for the main question.

Preparation that follows your circumstances

EXOBASIS reviews the agreed information and existing work before the conversation. We look for the dependency that could change your decision. A destination may suit your preferences while a family member still needs a residence route; a second account may be of little use if access depends on the same unavailable phone.

For someone leaving the UK and someone currently living in the UAE, the relevant history and existing arrangements can be different. Citizenship, residence, family circumstances and the intended destination are considered separately. We identify which facts are established, which need confirmation and where a qualified legal, tax or other specialist needs to answer a defined question.

If accommodation or a property purchase is part of your plan, we first clarify its purpose: a place for the initial arrival, a base kept ready during your absence or a permanent home. That choice affects the search, the ongoing commitments and the work to arrange next.

Reviewed documents as the basis of the decision.

Your prepared 60-minute conversation

We work through the options and their consequences for your main question. You can challenge the recommendation, explain a priority that has changed and discuss the practical trade-offs. The aim is to decide what deserves action first and what can sensibly wait.

After you book, we respond personally within one working day. Your consultation takes place at the agreed appointment time. We confirm the language, time zone and contact route beforehand. The free 20-minute orientation call serves a different purpose: it helps establish whether EXOBASIS is a fit and which work you need. You can book the expert consultation directly, without an orientation call.

Work out what needs to happen next

During the consultation, we bring the findings back to the decision you need to make. We explain how we reached our recommendation and what remains to be resolved.

  • Your main question and starting point: what you want to decide and which existing arrangements matter.
  • Options and trade-offs: the reasons to pursue, defer or rule out a direction.
  • Open dependencies: missing evidence and the specific questions for any necessary specialist.
  • The order of work: priorities, the next responsible person or service and what needs to be settled before moving on.

For example, if you want to establish a family base, we can discuss the order in which to clarify residence rights, compare locations and arrange accommodation. You decide which step to take and where your existing advisers can help.

Ask the questions that matter to you

Your questions are part of the 60-minute conversation. If a recommendation does not make sense to you, ask us to explain it. We can look at why one option fits better than another, what would change the advice or which missing fact you should establish first.

If a different main question emerges or you want help carrying out a step, we discuss what further work it would involve. Findings that still apply remain part of the basis for your next step.

Personal questions to understand the decision.

Choose the next work that fits

You can act on what we discuss, speak to your existing advisers or ask EXOBASIS to carry out further work. The consultation stands on its own.

If the next decision needs a detailed comparison of destinations, our country and location selection service compares the places against your family, work and practical requirements. If you already have a location in mind, arrival and home-search work can cover a defined search, viewings, arranging independent title and purchase checks, completion coordination, handover and care, as agreed for the assignment.

A known individual task can be commissioned directly. You do not need to buy this consultation or a complete plan before asking us to organise it.

Responsibility

Who takes the work forward?

EXOBASIS prepares and leads your consultation. Where further specialist input is needed, we define the question, the responsible professional and the work to be agreed. You remain in control of the decisions and the information shared.

For the first enquiry, send only a broad outline and a suitable reply address. Personal documents belong in the protected exchange arranged for the assignment.

Possible afterwards

Turn the decisions into a coordinated plan

The personal departure and contingency plan is a standalone partial assignment: it produces the emergency and departure plan for an existing, checked setup, establishing which steps belong together, what they depend on and who carries them out. The consultation can also lead to a build offer based on the mandate sheet; the consultation fee is not credited against the build fee. Setup and ongoing care are commissioned separately within the agreed scope.
